Lesson 2 Reflection

1. What are you most proud of in your Lesson 2 Presentation and why?
I am very proud of my activity because it was very engaging and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

 2. a.     What assessment would you give yourself on your Lesson 2 Presentation (self-assessment)?
      P

 b.     Explain why you deserve that grade using evidence from the Lesson 2 component contract.
I think I deserve at least a P because my activity was very fun and I gave good explanations on my research and answer and I made time.

 3. What worked for you in your Lesson 2?
My activity was like the star of the show in my presentation. Everybody really enjoyed it and someone even told me it was cute.

4. What didn't work? If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your Lesson 2?
If I would be able to go back I would change something I said. Something kind of accidentally slipped out, it wasn't that bad but still probably should have said something that means the same thing in another word.

5. What do you think your answer #2 is going to be?
To be honest I really have no idea. I am constantly thinking about it but can't quite get a good answer yet.

Blog 11: Holiday Project Update

1.  It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school.  What did you do over the break with your senior project?

I didn't have a chance to do much physical work over break because I work with my dad and he was also on vacation. But I did do some research about the different regulations for stormwater.

2.  What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why?  What was the source of what you learned?

One of the most important things that I have learned is public education. Because if the public didn't have the slightest knowledge of stormwater pollution then our waters will be worse than what they are now. A lot of people still are under educated about it but we are doing our best to get everyone educated.

3.  If you were going to do a 10 question interview on questions related to answers for your EQ, who would you talk to and why?

I would Interview Lynn Merrill because my dad works for him and he is very knowledgeable about storm water and stormwater regulations.

EQ

1. "I reviewed the rule of three for writing an EQ."

2. a) This question does follow the rule of three because it does require research and it isn't a yes or no question. It does give a chance to argue because there can be many answers. The wording also makes sense and is understandable.
    b) This question does not follow the rule of three because it needs to specify what the conviction is, and without knowing you can't do much research on it.
    c) This question does follow the rule of three because it does require research and is not a yes or no answer. There are many answers so it can be arguable. The wording is good so it makes complete sense.
    d)  This question does not follow the rule of three because it doesn't specify what kind of chronic pain or where it is. This question does make sense but it needs to be more specific.

3. What is the best way for municipalities to prevent storm water pollution?

October Extra Post

On the 18 of October I went to an event with my mentor and talked and educated the public about storm water and told them what to do to help out. To do this I played a game of Jeopardy with them, They got to choose three questions and if they got at least two right then they won a prize. We designed the game to get people thinking about storm water and hopefully they learned something and will care.

Blog 9: Lesson 1 Reflection

1. I am really proud of how my presentation played out, although I had a little technical trouble I thought I did really well.

2. A.) I would give myself a P
B.) I think I deserve that because I met all of the requirement that were on the contract and did not miss anything.

3. Being prepared really worked out for me, I knew what to say and what to do and it all flowed really well.

4. I would have done a regular slide show presentation instead of a prezi because the computer was not cooperating with prezi.
